Japan's Worst Game of 2010 Published By Nippon Ichi
As someone who really loves Nippon Ichi Software's games, the period of time where they chose to go into publishing the games of other companies certainly felt like a strange one, especially with how poorly some of those titles ended up doing at the time, particularly with today's game Lost Rebellion.
In a way it's interesting to see how it ended up in part because Image Epoch who we talked about before had been hoping to go into publishing precisely because they felt that it was more financially sound than being fully in development, only for us to get a good example here of what could happen if it were handled badly and therefore it does give a good example of how difficult the path may have been compared to what Image Epoch had predicted at the time as well.
Either way, this game was pretty strange and horrible, maybe more so for the Japanese audience since the amount of English in the game likely made it less accessible for the people here instead but it's interesting to see how systems wise so many things just felt so off as well.
