So, everything I had an issue with concerning collecting in this game instantly thrown out the window once I started the second playthrough haha. Obviously, I couldn't have known the game was structured the way it is until I finished the game the first time, so it is what it is. Most of the points I've made about collecting things in this game still stands though.
