This was my first time officially collaborating with Capcom on Resident Evil (though they kindly gifted me a kit for RE3R!) prior to the creation of the Capcom Creator program and I was SUPER excited about it :) While I had enjoyed RE7, I was not especially anticipating RE Village, but I did find it to be a lot of fun! The horror elements of 7 and Village are done very well, and I would argue that they are certainly scarier than the remakes - 3 and 4 especially. Since this was upon release of the game, there was only the first person mode, but these days they have also made a Third Person mode available as well, so if you prefer the classic over-the-shoulder RE style, you can certainly play the game with that mode as well!
