0Second try. A bit of panic dodging near the end here though, I taunted him the first time and immediately regretted it.. Don't enrage the human bosses.
The third phase of this fight is the one of the worst parts of the game in my opinion. Fortunately he's not actually that hard.. (at least not yet, he's a lot tougher later in the game.) It's just really hard to keep track of what's going on. For the most part I think Bayonetta 2 is very well designed and fair though. It's just this fight, Sloth, and some of the Platinum Medals with Bayonetta that can be really annoying.
There's only a few other fights where your flying through the air, but the other ones feel like their designed to be fought in the air and you can actually see whats happening.. There's way too much going on in this fight and the camera doesn't focus on Masked Lumen at all. It's also pretty hard to dodge offset or use certain combos in the air.. You don't even have access to instant dodge offset or Panther Strike.
