In this continuation of Still Wakes The Deep, we find ourselves deep in the Engineering sector as I meet up with Brodie and Finlay, trying to make sense of the escalating chaos on the oil rig. Out of the blue, a desperate call from Roy comes through the loudspeaker, pleading for help. I rush off to find him, but things take a dark turn as floodwaters start rushing in, threatening to engulf everything in sight.
Tragically, when I finally locate Roy, it's too late—he's already gone. It's a heavy moment, but I can't dwell for long because the situation on the rig is deteriorating fast. I quickly make my way to the control area and manage to readjust the settings, working to stabilize the oil rig before it's too late. Once the rig is back on track, my next objective becomes clear: head to Drill Ops.
This part of the game was full of dramatic moments, from the rising floodwaters to the heartbreaking loss of Roy. The tension keeps building, and I had to wrap it up here, but there's much more to come as I make my way to the next phase!
