This is a completely free method that does not require a computer, iTunes, or paid apps. You’ll also be able to set songs and tones as text tones, alerts, or notification sounds using this method.
We’ll be using Zedge website to get free iPhone ringtones, then I’ll walk you through how to use GarageBand to convert and apply the ringtone, and finally how to set it up in the Sounds & Haptics section of the Settings app.
