A story about my uncle is a really solid 1st-person platformer/adventure game. In fact, I think it's the only real quality 1st-person platformer since Mirror's Edge. You play as a boy searching for his missing uncle in an alternate dimension/another planet/some unknown place.

Instead of the usual faire of a point & click adventure game, FPS/Third Person Shooter, RPG or whatever- the entire game consists of solving physics/platforming puzzles by grappling your way across the environment. You can also do some cool turbo jump stuff, but the grappling hook is the star of the show. It's also very well built- as we encountered no bugs/glitches/issues playing.

The environments are super tight and pretty, with a lot of slightly-off architecture and glowing ruins, as well as floating rocks and distant structures.

The music is unobtrusively spot on- adding to the experience by sitting just outside of your attention and enhancing the feeling of mystery and exploration.

All in all, we really enjoyed the experience, and will be playing it some more for sure!
