The Stranded Deep developers are always tinkering with the game mechanics, so after they released 0.74, I decided it was time to update the cooking tutorial. In this video we will cover all the structures you can craft in order to cook and smoke meat. We cover the Fire, Fire Pit, Smoker, and Hobo Stove - how to craft them and how to use them to cook and smoke your food.

We will also address one of the biggest questions I get on my smoker tutorial, which is 'why did my meat only cook and not smoke?' The smoker is the only cooking structure that has two stages. First the meat becomes cooked, THEN it progress to smoked. And smoked is what you really want because then your meat won't spoil on you. (Which really stinks if you've traveled to another island thinking you had brought plenty of food with you!)
