Map Making Series Episode 07
Monuriki is an island in the pacific ocean and it is the place where the movie "Castaway" with Tom Hanks was filmed.
A viewer of mine, DJ Furlow, had the amazing idea that i should try and replicate that island in Stranded Deep :D
Since i feel that the game is greately inspired by the movie, i belive that this is the perfect thing to do :D
So in todays episode we will try to get the shape of the actual island and its heightmap going. In the second part of the video we will check out the progress we have made in the game and see how it all feels =)
