Strange Foreign Games | Battery Check (1995)
Battery Check is a 2D platformer game running on the 'Orange Games Engine' used by Jazz Jackrabbit 2. It was made for a Dutch company called Stibat, to promote recycling of batteries by giving the CD-ROM free to those who hand-in 15 empty batteries. Years later it was made freeware by Stibat, but the official download page has been down for some time now. The game works on any version of Windows from Windows 95 and up, though Windows 8 (and 8.1) users might need to disable DirectDraw Hardware Accelleration in the DirectX settings to make it work in fullscreen.
Please note that the game is in Dutch only. But the amount of text is very little, so that shouldn't be a problem.
