Stream: Queer Games Bundle 2022 showcase pt2
3The Queer Games Bundle on Itch.io is back for Pride Month 2022, directly supporting queer creators with a huge bundle of games and things. I took a look through the 588 items included and picked out 21 games that I wanted to show off. Some of the creators even joined me in chat, which was awesome! On this stream (recorded the same day as the previous) after my Internet had recovered I continued through my list, playing a chunk of very interesting games. Games played:
-Le Pawfect Crime by Alex Pritchard, Jack Brewer, and Josie Wood. A cute stealth puzzle game about a cat infiltrating a museum. After a few attempts I managed to finish it.

-Like a Normal Fish, by Axell. A 3D story game where a crab struggles with ableism in a world run by fish. I played through to the end. This one has some swear words in the text, but I don't say them out loud.

-Marvelous Duck, by lulapupa. An autorunner about a cute duck collecting coins and hats. It took a few runs but I got to the end, a fun time.

-Pea Knight MMO, by Chris 'MaoBoulve' Mendoza. In a top-down mock-MMO about to shut down, your pea character has to grind in PVP mode to buy a potato. A cute premise, and executed well.

-Room Room, by Sambero. This Disc Room-esque puzzle game has you progressing through a series of rooms, reacting to the new instructions in each one. I finished it, it's very cool!

-Second Puberty, by Squinky. A set of seven minigames exploring different genres and the creator's feelings about transitioning and pandemic life. I played them all, they're alternately fun and emotional.

-Slay Ghost Queen, by Ottertron. A short action platformer with nifty cursor-driven combat, double jump, and wall cling. I finished it; pretty cool!

-Snatched!, by omoide. A cheerful sidescroller; a drag queen has to get to her gig while birds try to steal her wig. I finished the three levels.

-Sparkles & Gems, by resnijars. A delightful game with a novel implementation of the Breakout formula, a bizarre visual novel mode, surreal characters, and a retro vapourwave aesthetic. I tried out a lot of different features but spent the most time in Treasure Mode. Fantastic!
