Playthrough with Ken on the hardest difficulty setting. The PC Engine version of Street Fighter II' Champion Edition was released in 1993, and only in Japan. It was released on a HuCard, and features the same kind of changes the Super Nintendo and SEGA Genesis versions of Street Fighter II have -less animation, missing music etc. It also has a few extra cuts, such as not having any parallax scrolling, a very basic intro and no character bios. It still plays really well though, and is certainly just as good as the other console ports.

This version was eventually released outside of Japan in 2009, when it was made available to download on the Wii's virtual console.
