Relive the Crusades as Richard the Lionheart and Saladin, the Sultan of Syria. Take command of the Crusaders fighting for centuries across the deserts, and fight for freedom as the mighty Saladin.

Stronghold: Crusader HD features several historical campaigns referencing the First, Second, and Third Crusades and their battles, including the sieges of Nicea, Heraklion, Antioch, Krak des Chevaliers, and Jerusalem. It also includes the Crusader's trail from the Warchest and Extreme editions.

HD Version

The new HD resolution allows players to enjoy not only high-quality graphics but also lets them view the entire battlefield on a single screen! With the new resolution, players have even more control over their units than before.

Stronghold: Crusader HD includes both Stronghold: Crusader and Stronghold: Crusader Extreme. Stronghold: Crusader Extreme uses the same graphics engine but with improvements that now allow massive battles where the number of units visible on screen exceeds 10,000 warriors at once. New tactical options have been implemented, giving players more control over the battlefield situation. New enemies and an additional Crusader’s trail have also been added.
