Bootstrap is a mod (or "setup" as the devs call it) for Stronghold Crusader Extreme that rebalances the entire game for competitive multiplayer play. (It mods Extreme to take advantage of the increased unit count.)

I move on to mission 3 and quarries still cannot be built so I'm forced to destroy parts of my castle to build my melee unit production (which also opens a shortcut for my workers.) We also manage to hear a piece of unused content.

Here's the mod's changelog: https://github.com/Krarilotus/BootstrapMultiplayerSetup/blob/main/bootstrapChangelog.md

Now, you might be asking "How are you playing the historical missions in Extreme?" Well,
1: Find your Stronghold Crusader directory.
2: Go to the "maps" folder, copy the historical mission maps, and paste them to the "MapsExtreme" folder.
3: Open Stronghold Crusader and save on a historical mission (preferably the first mission of a campaign.)
4: Exit Stronghold Crusader, copy the save file you just made, and paste it to the "SavesExtreme" folder. Here's a video on how to manage your save files of this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhFa_x636Xg
5: Open Stronghold Crusader Extreme and load your save file.
6: You can keep playing in your save file, but you might wanna go to the mission selection menu at some point. To do this, click on the "i" letter right next to your minimap, click on the hand that is pointing to the left, click on "yes", and you're now taken to the mission selection menu. It may look like there are no missions, but clicking on the hand pointing to the right will take you to the mission of your save file. If the game doesn't remember your save file, it will take you to the first mission of the campaign you're on instead.
