Genshin Impact PC version 5.7 - A gameplay and the first look of the new permanent combat challenge mode: the Stygian Onslaught.
To unlock the this new game mode, you must reach Adventure Rank 20 and complete the quest provided. Located in Lingju Village, Qiongji Estuary, Liyue. This is a new permanent combat challenge of beating the three different bosses with various difficulties in limited of time.

In this new challenge mode there are six difficulties: Normal, Advancing, Hard, Menacing, Fearless, and Dire.

From Normal, Advancing, Hard difficulties you can either match in co-op or play in solo, and you can use the same character in the three team layouts.

Where in Menacing, Fearless, and Dire difficulties can only play in solo. Each higher difficulty gets much stronger for the bosses for limited amount of time, and you have to use different characters in each of the team party layouts. You can see the recommended elements in each boss.

Each difficulties beaten, you receive the rewards. You can also receive the chosen artifact set rewards from the Ley Line Blossom after beating the boss in all difficulties, costing the same amount of resin as in the Domains of Blessings. Each cycle period, this challenge will reset every 30 days.

C2R1 Nahida: 4pc Deepwood Memories, Sub-DPS EM build (662 EM, 55.9% CR/154.1% CD), level 10 on skill and burst talents;
C3R1 Raiden Shogun: 4pc Emblem of Severe Fate, DPS ER build (275,1% ER, 55.5% CR/168.9% CD), level 13 on burst talent, level 10 on skill talent, and level 8 on normal atk talent;
C2 Zhongli with R5 Favonius Lance: 4pc Tenacity of the Millileth, Full HP Shield build (45613 HP, 148.1% ER), level 10 on skill and burst talents.

Phase 3 (Skirk Freeze team):
C0R1 Skirk: 4pc Finale of the Deep Galeries, DPS build (53.1% CD/236.9% CR), level 9 on skill talent [*] and level 8 on burst and normal atk talents;
C6 Charlotte (Lv. 80) with R5 Oathsworn Eye: 2pc Emblem and 2pc Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Healer build (ATK/ATK/Healing Bonus), level 10 on skill talent [*] and level 10 on burst talent;
C6R1 Furina: 4pc Marechausse Hunter, Universal Hydro DPS/Sub/Support build (HP/Hydro DMG/Crit Dmg | 62.3% CR/290.5% CD), level 14 on skill talent [*] level 13 on burst talent, and level 10 normal atk talent.
