Styx: Shards of Darkness is a stealth game played from the first-person perspective. The game relies on stealth gameplay but also gives player the opportunity to fight his way through missions. Styx also has some abilities that can be improved with the points collected during missions. The game also provides some side missions but doesn’t force the player to complete them and they are revealed only if you are into exploration.

In Styx: Shards of Darkness you play as Styx. An utterly skilled, deadly stealth humorous thief. He doesn’t like to die and will make you regret that with his hilarious monologues. Styx usually takes the jobs that provide quick cash but things didn’t go well with his last job. He meets a Dark Elf who almost kills him. Now it gets personal and Styx will do everything to uncover the truth and save his kind from a deadly threat.
