Subsistence - Creative Mode - How to cheat - Alpha 51 Saves only!
174Well, since Alpha 52 Update the method doesn't seem to work anymore since the savegames are now apparently encrypted. However, older Saves are still working.
I'm afraid there is no easy way to edit the savegames after Alpha 52.
One day, I instantly dropped through the map as soon as I started my savegame in Subsistence. To fix that, I looked up the savegame files, stored in the Steam folder. Curious as I am I opened a savegame in an editor and saw that most of the content was readable text. To fix my problem I just had to rename the second newest savegame into the name of the newest one and everything was fine (I just lost a couple minutes of progress). But then I went back to the savegame file and tried some stuff. Here is what I've found out. Have fun.
