We take a look at Sega's Fatal Labyrinth - one of the first (if not THE first) roguelikes released for home consoles. Simple but refined, Fatal Labyrinth is still a joy to play over two decades later, even if it's far from the prettiest Genesis game out there.

UPDATE - I am told that there is no way this is THE first roguelike released for a home console. At bare minimum, Cloudy Mountain for the Intellivision and Gateway to Apshai for Colecovision precede it. Let no one say that I have spread misinformation!
