Can hentai games have depth? When it comes to Subverse, yes. Waifu's trust need to be earned.

Game Dev Corner is back! Now with an interview with Mr. Kristoff, Senior Producer of Subverse, Studio FOW/FOW Interactive's new Kickstarted game. The spiritual successor to Mass Effect, complete with turn based tactical RPG goodness, and shoot-em-up (shmup) game play in a Mass Effect galaxy map style explorer game. Complete with a ship, more waifu's a harem hentai game can sneeze at, and all kinds of high quality animation, voice acting and adult content. Battle all sorts of enemies, get loot, upgrade your ship, grow creatures in your lab, and (possibly) go on loyalty missions within the suppressive world of the Prodigium Galaxy, where puritanical oppressive douchebags rule.

Can you assemble an elite team of deadly alien waifus? (Which may/may not involve a suicide mission?)

This might have more RPG mechanics than Mass Effect. And a heck of a lot more (heterosexual) titillation. Which, at the end of the day, is pretty much what we all want, isn't it?

Something like Southpark, but dealing with heavy topics.
Themes: xenophobia, genocide, religious oppressions, ethics in gene manipulation, revolution. Just dealt with in a funny tone, similar to Monty Python.

This is a serious game that the talented team at FOW Interactive have been working hard at. It's not some budget hentai interactive novel. It has a story, a plot, and characters you need to get to know, with unlockable trees.

And fully voiced...if the KS gets that far. We're looking at a 30 hour experience.
