It's hard to balance things with only numbers to work with. Here are my proposed changes in text form (updated on 12-12-10):

SMGs:

- Switch the recoil numbers of the Uzi and the AK74u, and give the AK74u High penetration. The Uzi will then have a unique recoil among the 30-20 damage SMG's. The 74u would have slightly more recoil than the MP5k, but have the benefit of better attachment choices and better bullet penetration.

- Give the PM63, Mac 11 and Kiparis 30 round magazines instead of 20. Up the PM63 and Mac 11's centerspeed to 1600. Leave the Kiparis' centerspeed in tact, as it has high penetration compared to normal low SMG penetration.

- Give the Skorpion a 30 round magazine instead of 20.

Assault Rifles:

- Lower the G11 hipfire accuracy to that of the other assault rifles. Drop the magazine size from 48 rounds to 30 rounds.

- Lower the AUG and Famas' maximum damage from 35 to 30, making them both 30-25, as 35 damage with their high rate of fire outclasses SMG's close range, which shouldn't happen. Raise the AUG's centerspeed to 1700. Raise the Famas' centerspeed to 1600. This will aid in recoil control to compensate for lost damage at closer ranges.

Shotguns:

- Raise the Olympia's damage from 40-10 to 50-25.

- Raise the Stakeout's damage from 40-10 to 40-20.

- Tighten the HS-10's dual wield hip accuracy to 6-9; one min/max point greater than the SPAS-12 and Olympia. The ability to fire two barrels at once will balance it with the SPAS-12.

LMGs:

- Change the movement speed of all LMG's from 87.5% to 92.5%. Keep the slow ADS speed in tact

- Increase center speed of the RPK from 1500 to 1600.

-Drop the Stoner's damage from 40 to 40-30 starting at 50 meters out.

Snipers:

- Remove "random" jerk when scoping. Simply change it back to the way COD4 and WaW snipers scoped in.

- Add 1.5 stomach damage multiplier to the PSG-1, and lower its center speed to 500.

With these changes in tact, there would be no "overpowered" or "underpowered" weaponry in multiplayer. Everything would be nicely balanced and you'd see a much larger variety of weapons being used. Though I have no actual way to test these weapons against each other and only have numbers to work with, on paper, it works.

If Treyarch don't respond immediately, remember, they are a game developer and they have a lot on their plate already fixing other issues with the game. Spread this vid around, give it some time, and we'll see what happens.
