Why Play S Kawase: Footsies/Neutral character who is well rounded, has versatile tools that give her different ways to play neutral. She’s fun! Good for beginners, really easy executionally and pretty straightforward game plan.
S Kawase Vs regular Kawase - Ryu VS Ken.
Pros:
Best “Air Footsies” in the game
Tools to allow her to approach/beat zoning
Good normals on block, including low cr.l.
Cons:
“Average” in a lot of ways outside of neutral - Damage, oki, defense. Nothing Cheap
Air tools require her to take risk, and her best options use meter.
Missing some key tools from regular kawase, like 4ES Safe Overhead.
