Although I currently am not feeling as burned out as I usually am (Thanks to Summit1g for getting me into Elder Scrolls Online [ESO]), a lot of the days I don't edit footage is spent looking through my steam library, looking at what games are on offer, just something to pass the day by or I can make a video or two about. Seeing streamers I really look up to (like Summit) suffer with the same burnout I get is both a shame, but a relief.

It's an issue for us MMO players since the MMO genre itself seems to be slowly dying. When I was growing up a new free to play MMORPG dropped what felt like weekly. It was harder to get burned out when everything was constantly new to you. Now, the few mmos they are being developed are either for mobile, or just not very good. That leaves us with the old ones to try get into and catch up to players who've already got years ahead of us. The issue is the content is mostly good at endgame, and the grind to endgame can be boring and infuriating. Putting the time and effort to get to something you're not sure is good, is off putting.
