All of Luigi's voice clips from Super Mario 3D World, provided by Charles Martinet and reused in such games as Mario Party 10, Ultra Smash, Super Mario Maker 1, Mario & Sonic Rio, Star Rush, Kingdom Battle, The Top 100, Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Party, Mario & Sonic Tokyo, Super Mario Maker 2, the Switch port of this game, Superstars, Battle League, and Sparks of Hope. After appearing as an unlockable character in Galaxy 1 and 2 as well as 3D Land, Luigi is a default character in this game who retains all of his gameplay mechanics from 3D Land. Needless to say, he's one of my mains thanks to his hilariously endearing voicelines and well-balanced stats, with Charles' take on Luigi here being quite deep compared to previous games. Luigi is often paired up with Toad in the game's promotional material, and one render in particular shows Toad kicking a Green Shell at Luigi as they battle for the Multiplayer Crown. Overall, Luigi is a lot of fun to play as in this game.
