This is the point where I like to talk a little about why I like this game. As per usual if you have a story about why you like this game please leave it in the comments below. I would love to read about it. Super Mario 3 might be one of my all time favorite games! If not my favorite. This port for the GBA is very faithful to the original. There are some areas where they made the game a little easier. Adding a block here, placing an extra platform there. But, I do not think it takes away from the overall game this is. There are so many things about this game that I absolutely love. And, the fact that I have been playing it for most of my life might make me a little biased. I just feel like in the NES and SNES era of games there a lot of "low effort" games. I think the main problem was that there was no "standard" yet. A Lot of games were cash grabs to make money off of an IP. Instead of making money off of the game. Back in the day 75% of games wished they had the quality of life that a Zelda or a Mario game could offer. I think that's why you see game companies being more famous than the games themselves. Regardless, This game was amazing. Every level is fantastic. Every song is AMAZING and, the difficulty is well curated. If you have never played Mario 3 in any capacity, I strongly recommend you so. It's a classic and, is remembered fondly for a reason!
