Having just replayed the NES original version, it's now time for the SNES All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 2! Immediately, the jump in presentation shows with even some quality-of-life changes, making it arguably the most improved upon game of the entire All-Stars bundle. I like both versions for their distinctive charms, but overall I'd say that this one is the most accessible and perhaps the definitive Mario 2 experience. It may be a mood by mood basis, though. Commentary wise, I just have fun with it and bring a consistently happy and silly mood the whole way.
