3Thwomps in the fortress will move sideways or hit the turf from above. Go from landing to landing and navigate the upper floor to see a duet of Thwomps moving sideways. The blocks will release a coin when hit, but the last one on the right is a real garbage block. Pass by some more Thwomp and go up the pipe. Turn left and bounce off a Dull Bones to reach higher ground. Hit some invisible blocks and go through a small path before going up a pipe by some coins. The next room is where Boom Boom is. Just stomp it 3 times to take the ? Ball to finish.
