Hello Internet and welcome back to Cancelled! For episode 237, we got some release dates for some franchise movies (one commercial and one that's definitely not that). First, a new Super Mario Bros. Movie (not technically a sequel) now has a 2026 release date. If you look at the box office numbers of the 1st movie, this news shouldn't shock any of you. And second, MaXXXine, the third in A24/Mia Goth horror trilogy, has a July 2024 release date, making it a summer movie. Interesting choice. And finally, Tarot moved up by a week, but no one really cares about that. Here's hoping things don't get crazy anytime soon.
