Lava Lair Speed Run

I apologize for doing this as Mario. I saw after I finished that I was supposed to do this as Luigi. I forgot about it; this was my fault. Actually, I chose Mario because...I don't really know why I chose Mario, actually.

This mission takes you through Bowser's Lava Lair, the first of the Bowser stages in the game. If you missed "Peewee Piranha's Speed Run," you may notice that the timer is a little strict. This is because you're supposed to grab stopwatches along the way, each of whom add 10 seconds to the timer. The Star is yours if you can reach the end in time.

The first time I went through this, I thought about the huge amount of stopwatches that must be on the planet where you fight Bowser. Well, it seems the Star is just floating there out in the open near where you reach Bowser's throne. This will be the way it works for each of the Comet Stars for the Bowser stages: You don't actually fight Bowser. A Star just appears there.
