This is a speed run of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

While Mario was out venturing in the world of Sarasa Land, Wario set up a divious plan to take over Mario's castle. He seems to have succeeded somehow. Now it is up to you to travel across Mario Land, collect the 6 golden coins from Wario's minions, and get the ability to enter Mario's castle so he can defeat the bad guy, Wario, himself.

From the beginning of input to the victory over Wario, the time spans out to about 28 minutes and 25 seconds. This overpowers the speed run over at Speeddemosarchive.com by about 20 seconds short of 4 minutes.

This run was all done in real-time on an emulator meaning it doesn't take any advantages of savestates, slowdown, frame advance, and the like.

I think I did really well with this run, and, while not free of mistakes, is defenitely a good reference for anyone who would like to try and beat this run by even a second. I'm only guessing that with perfect percision, a time of 28:15 (maybe even less) could be achived.
