Super Mario Odyssey - Trek to the Darker Side (Part 3)
2This video continues a full, uncommentated playthrough of Super Mario Odyssey to Darker Side, for The Challenge Series on SDGShawn's Discord, run by SDGShawn and TrenteR_TR. This video covers Metro Kingdom and the start of Snow Kingdon, ending with a total of 120 Moons in the Odyssey, and 14 Moons on hand.
I definitely remember the tank being easier to control than this, which explains why I managed to miss the single segment that locked me into a three-cycle Mecha Wiggler fight in Metro Kingdom. Most of my time after that was grabbing as many Moons as I could remember how to get quickly, including all four musician Moons, so that I could jump straight into the sewer section on the revisit later on. Also very happy I decided to get some practice on the swinging subarea - at least, that's what I'm telling myself that was. And no, I'm not doing Jump-Rope to 100. 30 was annoying enough.
Fun fact: I was recording most of this while in a Discord voice call over a few days, and at around the 32 minute mark of this video, I stop in the bin for a short moment. This was a good opportunity for some self-deprecation, after all :)
Snow is one of the few kingdoms I was aiming to get World Peace established earlier, because otherwise Snow overworld is a very annoying place to traverse, and I just wanted to focus on Moon collecting. Most of the Shiveria side areas weren't too bad, although Rango on ice is the most irritating boss fight in the whole game, and I will not be accepting any other answers.
Bound Bowl took more time than it definitely should have too, I was very out of practice on the bouncing. I elect not to leave immediately after that is done, because I can get a few more Moons in the area that are relatively simple to get - that's in the next video, though.
