The start of Bowser's Keep. Having Bowser simply IN the party will scare off quite a few enemies, namely the Terrakoopas, Gombas, and Sky Troopas. Everyone else can be dealt with very easily. This stops right before the 8 Doors. You'll want to go through each of the doors at one points (and hopefully run into all the puzzles), so that you can get the good stuff here (this is where Mallow's, Geno's, and Bowser's best weapons are, but I namely aim for Bowser's Drill Claw, which ironically enough was the very LAST treasure I got....talk about luck)
