Super Mario Sunshine was the successor to the incredible Super Mario 64. Released in 2002 on the Nintendo Gamecube, it faithfully improved upon many of the mechanics created in Mario 64, while adding it's own flavor with a unique story arc, completely new world, and some different mechanics as well.

I loved this game a ton as a kid growing up, and it's just as great to play when I revisit it every now and then. Here's to a potential remaster for the switch in the future????
