Subject: Super Mario World: The After Years is a ROM hack that tells the story of the Mushroom Kingdom into the distant future where Mario, Luigi, Peach and anybody in that time no longer exist. Now a new cast of characters are left to run the show in a world we're all familiar with. Anyways, the hack is your Standard Chocolate Hack (Aka alot of custom content.) with a story. It is also the very first ROM hack that I created. Originally it was rejected..., so I decided to revise about 80% of the hack and label it the Ultra Edition. This was officially accepted and released onto Super Mario World Central. (Fun Fact: Currently my only ROM hack officially submitted.)

After a long journey we reach the Final World of the game which is Industrial themed. We start with the first level of the world which is Defense Base 1. This level doesn't really have a central gimmick aside from line guide platforms and moving platforms. The enemies in this level also pull out all the stops especially during the inside portion of the level. Overall a challenging level to start of the Final World.
