Super Metroid 100% Speedrun Guide Segment 1
13This is the first part detailing my 100% Super Metroid speedrun route. I will break down all of what I do and why I do it. I am breaking it down into segments to try to give as much depth and understanding to why I do things the way I do. Starting off with Ceres, where you can't really gain much time, but you can lose over a minute by doing some things wrong.
Keep in mind that this route isn't the route used for the current world record run, but it is a very good route that can get you under 1:00 in-game time. It also has minimal use of weird game-engine abuse and seems to be simple enough for anyone to get a really good time.
Sorry for the escape sequence not getting the audio in it. I am not sure how that happened, but I intend to not let that get past my notice again in the future installments.
