I'm always looking for ways to spice up my nightly Randomizer series at the end of each month, whether it's upping the difficulty to Masochist in Project Base on the last Thursday of the month, or maybe doing a 4-game combo randomizer instead of a 2-game combo on the last Sunday of the month. And I've decided to spice up my Tuesday Super Metroid Randomizer series by doing a Map Randomizer on the last Tuesday of each month!
If you thought the Area Randomizer option from the Super Metroid VARIA Randomizer was confusing, then prepare to be scared! The Super Metroid Map Randomizer takes this several steps further by piecing together a brand-new world from every room in Super Metroid! On top of the randomly reconstructed game worlds, there are also a lot of settings carried over from the VARIA Randomizer, including skill presets (which determines what kind of glitches you need to get through the game), progression speed, door randomization, and different objective options to open the fight with Mother Brain (with rooms with required objectives marked on the map with X's).
