This is a continuation of my hack series for this game, but in a different playlist to stay organized. This is a challenge run, that is built into the game that I want to fool around with. So how to get this run going is not fully explained so the player needs to figure that out as part of the challenge, but it is a little too cryptic as a result. By performing a certain sequence early on, you can obtain a power bomb early, but the result is that you not be able to get the Wall Kick Boots and the Morph Ball Bombs. Tourian will also be unlocked so that you don't need to find the guardian statues. It makes navigating very weird and your new way of traveling relies a lot on Damage Boosting. I was hoping for a causal run, but this might get very complicated.

This is my first time experimenting with a Super Metroid rom hack. Super Metroid was one of the last Metroid games I picked up, because I never owned a SNES. I had to play it through Virtual Console, so now that I am playing this on an emulator with an SNES controller, I will need some time to refigure out the controls. Now for this hack. This hack was created by Drewseph, released in 2015, and features new abilities and enemies. I've never even seen any Metroid Hack, beyond randomizers and a hack that rotated the world 90 degrees, so I picked this hack for its decent reviews. This is my favorite game series, so I should have a blast playing another Metroid game that I have never seen or played before.
