Short seed my butt.

This is a randomizer that puts together The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Super Metroid, allowing you travel between the two games and mixing up the items between the two.

This seed uses the normal logic with all items mixed up, so while nothing should be at their original locations (keyword: SHOULD) you do not have to use glitches to complete. The goal is to ultimately beat both Ganon and Mother Brain, in either order.

This is also played with the new 11.3 update, which changes up a few things: To start, Super Metroid Bosses (Ridley, Kraid etc) now have boss tokens assigned to them that can be mixed up with the crystals and pendants from LTTP. What this means is that theoretically you don't have to beat every Super Metroid Boss anymore, as credit for killing, say, Phantoon could be won by beating Eastern Palace in LTTP. This also means you can get a crystal for beating Draygon in Super Metroid. This can lead to some interesting routing decisions even on the most vanilla of seeds.

The 11.3 update also allows for to do a "short seed", and by that I mean you can now set how many crystals are required to open up Ganon's tower, make Ganon vulnerable, and how many Super Metroid Boss tokens are required to open up Tourian and beat Super Metroid. For this, I set it so 4 crystals are required to beat LTTP, and 2 Boss tokens are required for Super Metroid. This should have made this a sub-3 hour seed at worse but, well, you'll just have to watch to find out.

Funny thing is that I did a seed after this where I had to collect all 7 crystals and all 4 boss tokens and ended up getting a PB by nearly an hour (2:57:00). Just goes to show that sometimes the randomizer giveth and sometimes it taketh.
