Super Pitfall 2 - Unreleased NES Prototype Exploration + Dual Ending Speedrun
Did you know that Activision wanted to release a sequel to Super Pitfall for the NES? Around 1989 or so, Activision decided that Super Pitfall needed a follow-up, so they put together a team to localize Sunsoft's 1986 Famicom platformer Atlantis no Nazo under the title Super Pitfall 2. The final product was never released at retail, but we got our hands on a prototype copy, and we're gonna speedrun it while documenting the changes made during localization!
(Apologies for the glitchy graphics in some levels - our reproduction cartridge doesn't meet Nintendo's usual quality control standards.)
