On this week's Dragon Ball Daima Review & Analysis, dreams really do come true. It’s a moment 30 years in the making: Vegeta has finally achieved Super Saiyan 3. Toriyama the mad lad has done it again… and I have a LOT to say about it.

In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, this feature length review is almost entirely about the eyebrowless, long hair monster boy. I dive DEEP into the transformation scene itself, and directly compare it to the famous Super Saiyan 3 Goku transformation scene from Dragon Ball Z. Never before has a children’s cartoon been so closely analyzed and nitpicked. How does Daima’s big transformation moment differ from the Dragon Ball Z version? What exactly is it about the DBZ scene that makes it such a classic, and how does Daima’s Super Saiyan 3 scene do in comparison? We also have to address the elephant in the room: Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta happening in Daima… kinda breaks a key scene in Battle of Gods. Can you say retcon? WHAT’S TORIYAMA PULLING?!
