Apologies for no commentary this time; I was in a voice call with friends, such as Aero. Aero and I spent a few hours this afternoon fixing up my 2023 route, since they figured out that using the "microscopic" adjective on the infamous tree was far superior to "wee". "Wee" was the go-to ever since Hagata used the tree trick in Japanese-language runs in 2019, but making the tree the smallest possible size makes clipping into solid walls almost free. The main focus of the rerouting was minimizing the amount of switching between worlds, after which Aero did a simulation (summoning objects on the title screen) to figure out exactly where adjectives would show up in the adjective book if everything was summoned in order.

Aero proceeded to get an 18 second world record after just a couple attempts (beating their personal best by almost two minutes), which encouraged me to take my own time further down. I started one run that took world record back by 18 seconds just an hour later, and realized how close sub 30 was if I eliminated just a couple egregious mistakes that happened. Two attempts later and this run made it a reality. Congrats to Aero for holding the world record for one more hour (this wasn't their first time having it, to be fair), and thanks for helping me bring my time past this impressive minute barrier.
