Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Apr 29 09 A
As the Joker said in The Dark Knight, "I'm performing a social experiment." Of course, this isn't involving a bunch of people on a pair of ocean liners waiting to be blown up. Rather, it's just continuing to mess with Final Destinationers. I went on during a timeof a lot of European players, but as it seems, there are Final Destinationers during this time too. Why so serious?
Match #1
Yoshi
Final Destination
Everyone else is battling all serious-like, but it soon becomes clear that I'm not. I'm letting myself get KOed by Sonic and only Sonic. That is, I'm purposely skewing the match results in favor of Sonic. It's a thing you can only do in Time matches. It's a lot harder to mess with people in Stock matches. I'm sure that after long enough though, even the most thick-headed of players will realize that someone's doing this on purpose.
Match #2
Jigglypuff
Final Destination
And here I am doing it again, only this time I've chosen Ness as my favorite. Considering how absolutely stern Final Destinationers are, this probably messes with their psyche more than anything else, as I've done the following:
1. Thrown the battle right out the window as a test of skill
2. Drained away the "epicness" through my interference
3. Hollowed out the victory to whom I hand the battle to
It probably sounds really mean, though Final Destinationers are a dime a dozen and annoy me enough that I feel absolutely no qualms about doing such a thing to them. I'm doing this to see what would happen. As it seems, as the match goes on, the person I'm handing out points for will try harder and harder to avoid me, and it often gets pretty difficult. Curiously, none of the other players attempt to steal that point for themselves and let me skew the match. Once I keep it up for long enough, they leave the room outright.
Match #3
Bowser
Green Hill Zone
The person in the Player 4 spot had left and was replaced by someone new, who apparently is not a Final Destinationer, as the amount of Final Destination had dropped substantially. I don't think I did too bad here. Sonic, who normally dominates the Final Destination matches when I play things straight, is in last place, and Ness needed the PK Starstorm to break even. After some time, Players 2 and 3 also left the room.
