I created this series of videos as a cool side project with my oldest son who absolutely loves everything Nintendo, most of all Sonic, Mario and Kirby. We watched all these unscripted brawls together and had fun cheering and booing all our favorites as they wormed they way to the top bracket. Seeing as I don't like to put any video to waste, I felt I should share some of the fun I had with you.
My process was to first record and watch the battles in real time with my son, which was fun. Then, starting with round 1-4, actually script out a dialogue of "announcer commentary" for each battle and record that for each video. Finally, I helped teach my son how to edit videos by putting it all together with him by my side. All in all, it was a fun bonding experience. May you enjoy it too.
