The update (that was on my birthday!) that releases a bunch of Mii Outfits and two new stages.

Key Notes:
- Along with Super Mario Maker, the Pirate Ship from Brawl returns, though both must be bought to be used. SMM can also be bought in the 3DS version, though the 3DS version gets the Duck Hunt stage for free... Weird.
- Both of these two new Wii U stages receive a very meager amount of new tracks. They'd rather borrow tracks from other existing stages. Speaking of which, the SMM stage has the largest amount of tracks, while the Pirate Ship, somehow, never gets the Molgera Battle theme.
- By the way, both of these stages are somewhat lousy in taking snapshots. You can't zoom or angle your shots properly in Pirate Ship (even in its Omega form). And the Super Mario Maker stage has the 2D effect.
- This update sadly introduced a glitch that made Diddy Kong ungrabable, though a later small update fixed it. They even point that out in the Notice section.
- The update altered the game mechanic universally. Now shielding can be more risky due to getting "stunned" slightly when attacked. Case in point, don't even use a shield against a Lucario charging an Aura Sphere near an edge...

The SSB4 Lucario smirked. "Seriously. You're starting to become really antagonistic lately..." Chris muttered.
