With Pikachu back in his body, he took the lead from Captain Falcon. "Ah, thanks. It's so nice to be back in my body," Pikachu said. "I was worried the trainers were going to catch me..."
"How can we even capture anything as wisps?" Green asked. She was never going to tell him it really was her plan to capture him, if she wasn't a soul wisp to begin with.
"You get the idea in your head, you will try doing it," Pikachu dully said.
The little rodent then led everyone around to explore the areas they could reach, taking down more possessed clones of their bodies. There eventually came a point that all the exploring he forced them to do became annoying to some dozens. "Would you just try finding a new body to free?" asked Greninja.
"You there, hush," Pikachu said. "I'm a Wild Pokémon. We LIKE to wander around and be cute when you LOOK cute."
"Oh, how swell. The little freaky rodent is going native at a time like this," Wolf said, his tone very sarcastic.
"Said the wolf man who likes howling at the full moon to the talking rodent," Palutena pointed out. Wolf scoffed.
"Exactly. Besides, we're not doing anything bad. We need to see where we can go to so we can make a strategy. I've fought a lot of battles to know what I'm doing here!" Pikachu said with a knowing smile. He was never going to tell them that he had absolutely no clue where they had to go and simply used any possessed copies as landmarks to keep moving through the landscape of random locations.
Pikachu's aimless wandering eventually presented another problem once some of their living stomachs grumbled. "I'm starting to get hungry here..." the Villager said.
"Oh no. We can't be going from place to place on empty stomachs..." Peach noted.
Link had noticed there weren't any wild animals around to be hunted for food. However, he had to admit the current animal-looking fighters looked... "You better not be thinking what I think you're planning on doing," Lucario warned, feeling Link's stoic gaze burning on his face.
Link faced Pikachu next. "Oh, you're nuts if you want to feast on me," he said with narrowed eyes, his cheeks sparking.
"Well, this is a problem. Without meat, we'll be famished before making it to that monster! Or long gone!" Captain Falcon said. "I propose we sacrifice some of us for the greater good." Some of the souls whispered, actually agreeing to the idea.
"N-no! We're not eating anyone!" Chris protested. "M-maybe we can find fruit without having to eat meat!" As if the heavens responded to his plea, he found a grove with trees filled with dozens of apples. "O-over there! There are trees with apples!"
As Kirby was the first one to run to eat everything on sight and Pikachu trying to stop him, Mario sighed. "Thank goodness. That means no one has to be eaten..." he muttered.
"Fruit. Great," Captain Falcon said, looking disappointed. "Meat is so not going to be a thing now." Link nodded in agreement.
"You two are weirdos," the Villager said.
After eating nature's fruity bounty, Pikachu took them west of where he was first found. Walking on a strange path that was essentially a large pink strand, they spotted Yoshi's possessed body standing on a big pink ribbon. "M-my body!" Yoshi gasped.
Mario looked east of where they had found Pikachu. "Wow. We weren't that far away from Pikachu's spot," he noted.
"Which means...we could have found my body way earlier than expected," Yoshi said, "...and I could have eaten apples earlier."
Pikachu chuckled nervously, feeling Yoshi's stern gaze even as a wisp. "O-oh no! It's trying to escape! I'm taking it down!" Pikachu said as he launched himself into battle, despite the obvious fact the body wasn't even thinking about fleeing.
"Some explorer he is..." muttered Yoshi.
