This video will teach you about a "Supercharged" T Flip-Flop which can save you about 3 ticks of signal time when activating a creation you've made that implements a T Flip-Flop. Insanely easy, this was created by Minecraftaddict, and is extremely useful for things such as doors and large-scale projects that require a button to become act as a toggling device (lever).

If the input signal is inverted, instead of the four whole ticks it takes to receive an output signal, it only takes one now! The great thing about this is the fact you can simply go into your creation and just add an inverter via a Redstone torch (in most cases).
