0The reason the light disappears but there's still light illuminating from it has to do with the way the game deals with objects. The way it works is that it resizes the objects and snaps them to the nearest wall, therefore making it look the same size. if there is no wall, then the object goes infinitely far away and infinitely large, therefore making the object clip inside of the character, and illuminate light on the walls, but you can't see the sides because they are infinitely far away in all directions. correct me if I'm incorrect.
