Even with Kryptonite bullets, that doesn't negate his powers, he can still dodge the shits. These idiot writers forgot to add Cadmus putting Lead lined Red sun Generators installed throughout the city to gradually drain his cells, THEN him being weaker gradually makes sense.
Just being near Gold Kryptonite doesn't weaken him, even Green Rocks don't take his powers it just makes his entire body feel like it's in acid (including his balls & dicc, so yea, think about that next time you think he's being a pussy because he's cringing to green Kryptonite) but he can still use his powers. The fact that he can even talk in that state is a statement.
And if they wanted to say him being NEAR a Kryptonite took his power, then use Blue, it has the same effect as Red Sun. But Red Sun works faster.
And Gold Kryptonite takes his powers away permanently, so him catching the boomerang should've been it for his powers.
These writers don't DC very well.
