867Continuing with merchandise for the Lion Fire Mode, we have the Superstar Blade from Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel. The Superstar Blade is a re-paint of the DX Ninja Star Blade, with some slight re-molding with the blade. The functionality is the exact same, with the same number of lights and sounds, activated the same way. The actual sounds are slightly different, but similar. It comes with a Gold Ninja Power Star, but any will work with it. The packaging mentions that you can connect the Lion Fire Morpher for a "power up boost". What's that special boost? Absolutely nothing. When you attach the Lion Fire Morpher, it acts exactly like any Ninja Power Star does when attached to the Superstar Blade. So that is very disappointing and false advertising. The packaging also mentions the Ninja Power Stars spin like a Power Ranger, but they absolutely do not, just like the DX Ninja Star Blade. The only reason this should be purchased is if you want to display it with the Lion Fire Morpher attached, because it does look kind of neat. But otherwise, it's exactly like the DX Ninja Star Blade and not worth buying, so definitely pass on this.
