A friendly match goes awry when I go for a flashy victory instead of an efficient one.

I used my Noahs to snipe his nuke defence instead of just assassinating his commander, attempting a flashy nuclear victory. Thus, giving him the opportunity to nearly pull a win.

A rather unpleasant problem is that my fighters engaged his fleet and then would not pursue them after their initial attack. However, I eventually got them to comply and was victorious.

Thankfully relocating under activate shield grids and hunkering was enough to survive his attack until my fighters arrived and destroyed his fleet!
