You and your team are tasked with closing a dangerous interdimensional portal before it unleashes a powerful and destructive force. With no weapons to defend yourself, you must rely on exploration, puzzle-solving, and stealth to navigate through the hotel and alternate dimensions while avoiding a deadly creature that stalks your every move.
Compared to other co-op horror games, Ominous offers a unique multiplayer experience. While you and your teammates share the same map, you exist in separate dimensions, unaware of each other's locations, even if you're standing side by side. The challenge lies in finding a way to bring everyone into your dimension.
The Creature is completely aware of your presence and will actively try to stop you from closing the interdimensional portal. The main difference is that, while you and your teammates cannot see each other in different dimensions, the Creature can see all of you.
